The Dominican delegation stands out at the Argentina International Tourism Fair

The Dominican Republic is increasingly gaining popularity among Argentinians: during the first half of 2025, 89.5% more Argentine tourists arrived in the country compared to the same period in 2024, positioning it as the third most important source market for tourists globally.

Therefore, a Dominican delegation participated in the International Tourism Fair (FIT) in Argentina, aiming to strengthen commercial and tourist ties with the South American country, from which it hopes to attract more than 450,000 Argentine tourists by the end of this year.

Dominican officials and entrepreneurs carried out a promotion and press agenda, as well as held over 40 meetings with strategic companies in Argentina such as Ola, Aereo, Tower Travel, Jazz Operador, Julia Tours, Juan Toselli, Copa Airlines, Piamonte, among others.

“FIT was the ideal platform to continue strengthening ties with our strategic partners and travel agencies in Argentina, a market that not only grew remarkably but also demonstrated sustained loyalty and preference for our destination,” highlighted the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism.
