On September 21 our Managing Partner Enrique De Marchena Kaluche and Andres Ceara Brugal, Junior Partner of the firm, had the opportunity to participate in a lunch that was attended by the President of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinader. On this occasion, tourism entrepreneurs and other participants in the sector had the opportunity to present to the President, the Minister of Tourism David Collado, and other officials, development plans, and challenges that Samaná faces.

Likewise, the President of the Republic gave the first shovel this Monday at the place where the El Limón-Playa Marón highway section will be built, in Las Terrenas de Samaná.

“Samaná had the moment of its true development,” said the President Luis Abinader.

“Today we are giving the first shovel for 5.7 kilometers. It is not a lot in terms of distance but it is a lot in terms of what it means for this area to be able to have a tourism development as it should be, ”said the head of state.

Minister David Collado said that this project will have an initial cost of 121 million pesos and will be audited by the United Nations Program in addition to the government institutions responsible for doing it.[:]
