According to Marriott’s Travel Trends Forecast, the Dominican Republic is one of the preferred destinations for both leisure and business travel for U.S. tourists.

“The Dominican Republic has all the ingredients to be the perfect destination for group travel: some of the best beaches in the world, a natural wealth and culture that invites further discovery, excellent air connectivity to major U.S. and Latin American airports,” said Bang.

Marriott’s strong presence in the DR is evidenced by the 14 properties it manages in the country, represented by 3,744 rooms and 9 brands. Overall, it has a total of 43 properties and 11,013 rooms throughout the Caribbean.
