In 2025, the hotel company Grupo Piñero celebrates its 50th Anniversary by highlighting last year’s closure with a turnover of 987 million euros, exceeding the previous year’s results by 6%, and registering a 21% growth in its revenues.
The company also commemorates the 30th anniversary of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, one of its most significant investments in the country, along with hotel projects such as Playa Nueva Romana and PGA Ocean’s 4.
- The company’s global CEO, Encarna Piñero, announced a strategic investment plan of 180 million euros for 2025, with a focus on hotel expansion and residential projects such as Playa Nueva Romana.
She also highlighted the importance of innovation, with plans to use artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
The executive expressed her confidence in the political and economic stability of the Dominican Republic, assuring that the company will continue its commitment to the country by promoting tourism and economic development.
Ecobahia Foundation
The Ecobahia Foundation, focused on environmental conservation, also celebrated important achievements in its first year in the country, including the release of 1,700 sea turtle hatchlings and the planting of 9,000 native plants.
