Vanessa Retif serves as a senior associate attorney in the firm’s Labor and Litigation department.
She has more than 10 years’ experience as a lawyer, focusing on labor law, labor, civil and criminal litigation.
She is an expert in the field of labor law and social security. She assists national and international companies in issues concerning the termination of employment contracts, payment plans, hiring, workers’ rights, policies, negotiations with unions, and labor litigation.
In addition, Vanessa has extensive experience in contract law, intellectual property, company and corporate law, tax law, maritime law, aviation law, distribution law, competition law and private international business law, which makes her a multidisciplinary lawyer involved in handling the most important client matters.
She graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM, Dominican Republic) in 2011, and completed her Master’s Degree in Private Law from Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France, in 2014 as well as a Master’s Degree in Contract Law from Université de Toulon, France, in 2015. She also has a Master’s Degree in Legal Strategy from the OMG Institute (Dominican Republic).
She is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
