The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, predicted that foreign investments in the Dominican Republic for this year could exceed 3,500 million dollars.
While attending a series of activities in Los Angeles at the IX Summit of the Americas, the President offered information about the country and possible investments.
“Despite current situations, this is a good time in terms of investment due to the conditions offered by our country,” he said, also noting that this amount would exceed foreign investments in 2021, which reached 3 billion dollars, maintaining leadership in the region.
He made these statements as he was leaving a business event at the Summit, in which President Luis Abinader took part with the other presidents of the Alliance for Development in Democracy, comprising the Dominican Republic, Panama and Costa Rica.
As a result, the president described this Alliance as “very positive in all areas” and various investments between these three nations are being evaluated.
