DMK Abogados provided legal advice to the leasing company, BOC Aviation, for the last 2 aircraft that arrived in the country for Arajet, named Lago Enriquillo and Laguna Redonda, in the person of partners Patricia Read Schott and Enrique De Marchena Kaluche.

Based at Las Americas International Airport, which serves the Dominican capital city of Santo Domingo, the budget airline received its seventh aircraft and according to a recent update, is due to receive its eighth craft before the end of the year and a further two crafts scheduled to arrive in the first months of 2024.

Recognized as the best new airline in the world at the CAPA Congress, Arajet has been very active throughout December and is looking forward to closing a great year 2023, having expanded its radius with 22 routes to 16 countries, in addition to providing a series of connections via its hub at Las Americas International Airport.

Aircraft manufacturer Boeing said it is happy to work together with Arajet and goes hand in hand with steps to strengthen the operations and running of the airline which has seen record results for an airline in the Dominican Republic in terms of the flow of mobilized passengers and active routes.

Lago Enriquillo is the seventh aircraft with registration number HI 1099 and was manufactured by Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington, USA.,
