In-coming Tourism in Dominican Republic
According to the tourism report published by the Dominican Central Bank, the number of non-resident visitors reached 522,632, showing a growth of 4.2%, equivalent to 21,267 additional passengers.
- 92% of tourists who visited the country in January were for recreational reasons.
- More than half of the foreign tourists who arrived in the Dominican Republic were women.
