{"id":9169,"date":"2023-03-08T13:43:05","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T13:43:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmklawyers.com\/?p=9169"},"modified":"2023-03-13T22:49:59","modified_gmt":"2023-03-13T22:49:59","slug":"marriott-international-hoping-to-attract-new-investment-to-dr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmklawyers.com\/en\/marriott-international-hoping-to-attract-new-investment-to-dr\/","title":{"rendered":"Marriott International hoping to attract new investment to DR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The world&#8217;s largest hotel chain operates 14 hotels in the Dominican Republic and eleven currently under construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Development agents for the\u00a0Marriott International\u00a0hotel chain are constantly visiting the\u00a0Dominican Republic\u00a0to meet with potential hotel investors interested in developing new holiday destinations in the country, such as Pedernales and Punta Bergant\u00edn in\u00a0Puerto Plata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brock Hochhalter, director of Marriott International for the Dominican Republic and Haiti, highlighted the favorable investment climate and the Dominican tourism sector\u2019s great potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hochhalter said that at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, Marriott International had 14 properties in the Dominican Republic, represented in 3,744 rooms and nine brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means a total of 43 properties with 11,013 rooms across the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also reported that the brand has 11 projects currently under construction, citing St. Regis in Cap Cana, and Aloft in Santo Domingo, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The largest hotel chain in the world reaffirms its commitment in the Dominican Republic, positioning itself as one of the main players in the country&#8217;s hotel market,&#8221; he said.<br>Marriott International has consistently worked to provide guests with the best lodging experience possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He reaffirmed the chain&#8217;s commitment to make every effort to promote the benefits that the country has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brand goes beyond offering quality accommodation and focuses on offering its guests unforgettable experiences for all types of trips.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The world&#8217;s largest hotel chain operates 14 hotels in the Dominican Republic and eleven currently under construction.
