1. El \u00e9xito del Gobierno en la estrategia de gesti\u00f3n de la pandemia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

El pa\u00eds est\u00e1 a un paso de lograr la inmunidad de reba\u00f1o (se acerca al 70% de la poblaci\u00f3n vacunada). Hasta noviembre pasado se han aplicado 13,548,143 vacunas. Al 26 de diciembre se alcanz\u00f3 la cifra de 14,034,756. La poblaci\u00f3n con una dosis suma 6.9 millones; con dos 5.6 millones y con tres 1.4 millones. La \u00faltima resoluci\u00f3n del Ministerio de Salud anunciado que se exigir\u00e1 documentar la 3ra dosis ha acelerado el proceso en los \u00faltimos dos d\u00edas. Con una dosis tenemos el 63.9%; y con dos dosis 52.6%. El objetivo es el 70% de la poblacion meta.<\/p>\n\n

Desde el 15 de febrero al primero de diciembre han recibido 23,297140 unidades de vacunas SINOVAC (15.7 millones), ASTRAZENECA (1,721,200), SINOPHARM (50,000) y PFIZER (6,086,340).<\/p>\n\n

2. La recuperaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

La gran noticia por el lado de la econom\u00eda, ser\u00e1 el sorprendente y acelerado proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda. El Banco Central proyecta un crecimiento del producto interno bruto real superior al 11%. En los meses enero-octubre la econom\u00eda ha crecido un 12.4 %, y registrar, y en el mes octubre una variaci\u00f3n interanual de 9.7 %. \u00a0El informe de la Comisi\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica para Am\u00e9rica Latina (CEPAL), organismo de las Naciones Unidas se\u00f1ala que nuestra econom\u00eda es la segunda con mejores perspectivas para el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o en Am\u00e9rica Latina, solo superada por Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n

3. El positivo comportamiento del turismo y su condici\u00f3n de protagonista principal en la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

El crecimiento del sector turismo medido solo por la actividad de hoteles, bares y restaurantes en los primeros 10 meses del a\u00f1o fue de un 36%, comportamiento que lo coloca como principal columna de la dinamizaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda. La gesti\u00f3n de este sector en la pandemia ha sido calificada como un ejemplo por el Secretario General de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial del Turismo, OMT, Zurab Pololikashvili. En los meses enero-noviembre llegaron 3.1 millones de turistas internacionales, un 65% de los que recibimos en el 2019, un importante logro que muestra la fortaleza de este sector<\/p>\n\n

4. El extraordinario aporte de los dominicanos residentes en el exterior a trav\u00e9s de las remesas familiares y el inesperado crecimiento de sus visitas al pa\u00eds. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Las remesas familiares llegaron en noviembre a la US$9,461 millones, un crecimiento del 28% comparado con las del 2020 y del 47% con el 2019. Este ingreso ha sido una de las columnas del buen desempe\u00f1o de la econom\u00eda. Igualmente creci\u00f3 la visita de los dominicanos no residentes que a noviembre sumaron 1.1 millones, suma superior al 2019 (937 mil) y casi duplica los 543 mil del 2020.<\/p>\n\n

5. La reactivaci\u00f3n de las zonas francas y el crecimiento de las exportaciones.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Las zonas francas crecieron en los meses enero-octubre un 21.9%, y lograron restablecer el 100 % del empleo. Las exportaciones dominicanas llegaron a US$5,961.2 millones, un crecimiento interanual de 23.2 %.<\/p>\n\n
