Therefore, distance is a differentiating factor in terms of accessibility,\u201d he noted, adding that a flight from Florida, USA, takes only an hour and 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained that this aspect allows for better positioning and development. Secondly, he highlighted that Puerto Plata is the only established destination in the country where the development of the hotel industry is close to an active town with culture, people, and activities. Tourists can leave the hotel and enjoy local attractions. \u201cIt\u2019s a different beach because it\u2019s the Atlantic, not the Caribbean Sea; it has a different flavor,\u201d he added during the Weekly Luncheon of the Corripio Communications Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, Marranzini said that, visually, it offers a different landscape compared to the East, as it features views of the
