He has represented local and international clients in tourism, health, construction, sports, airlines, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining DMK Abogados, Iv\u00e1n led the litigation team at one of the Dominican law firms and led the legal department of the local pharmaceutical company. Iv\u00e1n was a senior attorney at DMK Abogados in 2011-2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of his most recent cases include successful representation of a tourism project in lawsuits of alleged owners of the land on which the project is developed; successful representation of a clinic and medical group in claims to repair damages for construction defects; defense of airlines and hotels on the occasion of lawsuits filed by clients and employees; successful representation of a lessor investor in claims for termination of the contract and repair of damages, on the occasion of the installation of a natural gas pump, not authorized by the owner and without the proper governmental authorizations; among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has been ranked as a Next Generation Partner by Legal 500 2022 in the practice of Dispute Resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iv\u00e1n graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2005 and completed his master&#8217;s degree in Civil Procedure in 2009.
